Clinic Info

Clinic is for all ages, wrestling competition following clinic at JCS. Clinic participants will not have to pay entry fee for tournament. Must have a valid USA wrestling card.

You can register and pay online at bottom of page or on the FAWA web site www.floridausawrestling.org. Pre-registration ends June 16, a $25.00 fee will be added for wrestlers that are walk-ups for the clinic.

Clinic I
This clinic will feature Free-Style and Greco Roman wrestling skills. This clinic is geared towards wrestlers preparing for team Florida duals and national tournament. Along with wrestlers that feel uncomfortable when they are put in a position of upper body wrestling. Learning upper body techniques is essential for high school style wrestling. Being able to have a five point throw in your repertoire of moves will aid in winning the close matches and perhaps earn you a pin.

Clinic II
This clinic will feature Folkstyle (high school) wrestling. The clinic will consist of techniques from the feet, the mat, escapes, and pinning. From all of these positions offense and defense will be taught along with the set-up that makes the move successful.

Clinic III
This clinic will feature Folkstyle (high school) wrestling similar to clinic I, but in wrestling there some basic skills that need to taught before more advanced technique can be learned. The clinic will consist of more techniques from the feet, the mat, escapes, and pinning. From all of these positions offense and defense will be taught along with the set-up that makes the move successful.

LOCATION/DIRECTIONS
The location is Jupiter Christian School, 700 S. Delaware Ave, Jupiter, FL 33458.
Directions from I-95: Exit Indian town road, head east on Indian town road until Delaware Ave, then head south until you reach the school. Wrestling room is behind the school in the ATC building, walk along side of the field until you reach the ATC building.
Directions from turnpike: Exit Indian town road/Okeechobee, head east on Indian town road until Delaware Ave, then head south until you reach the school. Wrestling room is behind the school in the ATC building, walk along side of the field until you reach the ATC building.

Clinic Fee

PRE-REGISTRATION
The fee for any clinic is $75.00 prior to the day of the clinic, this includes the entry fee of $15.00 (one division/weight class) for the proceeding tournament after the clinic.

WALK-UPS
The fee for any clinic is $100.00 if not registered before the first day of clinic. A walk-up is a wrestler that arrives at clinic without a registration form and payment made online or by check.
